Sustainability
Each BOWANA is handmade in Portugal.
Each bead is placed one by one, without the use of industrial processes or mass production. Depending on the model, a single bag can contain around 1,500 beads, applied manually over several hours of work.
Each model receives a unique number, making each BOWANA part of the brand's history.
It's a demanding process, but that's precisely what makes each BOWANA truly special.
THE FOUNDER
BOWANA was founded by Ana Monteiro, driven by the desire to transform creativity into a brand with its own identity.
She always believed that a piece could be much more than an accessory. It could mark a moment, convey personality, and make the wearer feel special.
From this vision, BOWANA was born: a brand created for women who seek distinctive pieces with character and meaning.
Today, she continues to bring each collection to life, personally overseeing every stage of the creative process, from the initial idea to the moment each BOWANA reaches the hands of those who chose it.
